Huge update and changes in this version.

The change log below has all the details. Major notable items are the start of the storyline. Should you want to play along, I recommend it, as you will also learn tips and maybe bonuses along the way.

Right now, there is just the introduction email in the inbox. This is where you will follow and play the story.

The A.I. tab will provide tools to help you along the journey, starting with an analysis of the servers you have access to, giving you statistics on the top five servers that will benefit you based on your current status.

Change log

  • Added email inbox. This opens the path to discovery if you choose to follow.
  • The background and title of a research item that is not available is now less obvious.
  • The background of a research item currently being worked on is now more obvious.
  • New research item added. A.I. tools
    • Scout — iterates all servers the player can access, scores each as successChance × currentMoney (where successChance = min(0.9, hacking / hackDifficulty)), as clickable rows. Clicking a row populates the analysis section below.
    • Server Analysis — shows the selected server’s: hack success %, current/max money, expected yield per hack (successChance × money × 10% steal rate), security level, and ticks until next money regen. Defaults to the top Scout result on load.
  • Fixed the network map jumping around when dragging or zooming while a script is running.
  • Fixed a bug where servers not directly attached to ‘HOME’ on the network map would not show the hacking animation (blue line).
  • You can now click anywhere in the terminal window to give focus to the command line.
